Postgres Standardized Query Language (again, not 100% sure about the exact

Application Programmer's Interface, ie a description of procedure calls
that you can use for programming. Eg. a call that opens a pop-up window
and prints a text in it; this can be used by a programmer in their own
programs.

Which Oliver? :) It seems the original question ``what do users of
corpora want to do with them'' has turned into ``do they have to be
able to do it themselves''; but I agree that there were a few other
mails related to actual user needs.
