Greetings

I am invloved in a project to develop a corpus of Japanese college
students' English.
I want to exchange( or swap) my data, which include about 100000 words
essays right now, with
any language data. Please email me if anyone is interested in this
corpus exchange?
I am ready to do that.
I nee to know how to get LOCNESS(Louvain Corpus of Native English
Essays) and ICLE initiated by Sylviane Granger. I need both corpora for
my immediate presentation.
I am pleased to let me know about them.
Thank you anyone in advance.

Quentin,

As a starting point look at Granger S (ed.) 1997 Working with Learner =
Language Longman Harlow. You should also be aware of the forthcoming =
conference on Learner Corpora happening in Hong Kong later this year. =
Contact Sylvianne Granger (granger@etan.ucl.ac.be) for more information.

Also of interest is work being done in Poland on LC. Contact Przemyslaw =
Kaszubski [przemka@main.amu.edu.pl]

Best regards

Subject: Corpora: Learner corpus development\Research projects

Greetings,

I'm involved in a project to develop a corpus of students' English
(primary and secondary, written and spoken) and would like to hear from
anyone else who has undertaken (or is underaking) such a venture. I'm
also interested in details of specific research projects which
colleagues have done using learner corpora (any language). Any
references, leads, comments, advice, etc. gratefully received.

Of course, I'll be happy to summarise feedback for this list.

Regards,
