Corpora: French and English lemmatisers

Dear colleagues,

Does anyone know of reliable free-of-charge French and English lemmatisers
(i.e., which, for example, would output "voir" for "vu" and "be" for
"was", respectively)? If the tools rely on sentencing, tokenising and
part-of-speech tagging, then additional tools for these purposes are also
requested. Similar tools for German, Italian, Spanish and any other
languages found in multilingual corpora are also very welcome.
