Humanities, also known as human sciences, or liberal arts, or sciences of the mind, traditionally study:
language
literature
culture
history
history of art, architecture and design
music, theatre and film
logic
philosophy
religion, etc.
Everything that makes human culture!
Do we need this in the information age? You bet we do!
