    The Center for Mind/Brain Sciences at the University of Trento is
    inviting applications for a 3-year PhD Program in Cognitive and Brain
    Sciences. The program seeks to provide students with a high level of
    competence in basic and applied research in cognitive neuroscience,
    and will encourage them to pursue innovative research projects that
    require expertise in multiple areas. The program has two main areas
    within which research can be conducted using behavioral, neuroimaging
    and computational methods: 1) Cognitive Neuroscience - Cognitive,
    Perceptual & Motor Processes, and 2) Language, Interaction &
    Computation.

    The deadline for the application is September 20th, 2006 and courses
    officially commence November 1st, 2006. All courses will be given in
    English and are taught by a multi-disciplinary faculty. 12 fellowships
    are available in the amount of Euro 12,350 which will be awarded to
    candidates based upon application and experience.
