Yes. But you have to install xerces-c and ICU (IBM Internationalization
Components for Unicode - http://ibm.com/software/globalization/icu/ ) first.
According to your listing, the second one is missing in your system.
However, for me, the indexer in 1.18 is crashing, anyway. Maybe a problem of
my x86_64 (amd64) architecture...? Not solved, yet.
Anyway, I think you should join the Xaira e-mail list at
http://www.tei-c.org.uk/tei-bin/betatest (yes, the form is a bit out of date)
and ask questions directly there. The developers will be happy for any
feedback and they will help you with all problems.
