    Workshop on Interactive Question Answering

    to be held as part of the HLT-NAACL Conference in New York City

    We are delighted to announce the program for the upcoming Interactive
    Question Answering Workshop, at HLT-NAACL 2006. The primary goals of
    the workshop are to discuss the emerging area of Interactive Question
    Answering, situate it within the fields of Information Retrieval,
    Question Answering and Dialogue Systems, and create a roadmap for
    future research and development directions.

    We have 4 invited speakers:

    Jim Hieronymous, NASA
    Heather McCallum-Bayliss, DTO
    Tomek Strzalkowski, SUNY, Albany
    Bill Woods, SUN Microsystems

    Plus NSF Program Director Tanya Korelsky will speak about new
    directions and funding opportunities.
