Hello,

I am interested if there has been any corpus
studies (on the BNC, for
example)  about the frequency etc. of the use
of the fictional
characters in imparting meaning in a sentence. For
example (from a
sports story): "an ailing Mary Joe Fernandez kept
her Cinderella
story alive by defeating Swiss Emmanuela Zardo."
