Does anyone know of any freely downloadable or searchable corpora or text
collections which contain English texts spanning (at least) the period
1900-1970? I already know of the Michigan Modern English Text archive, also
the collection put together by Hendrik de Smets in Leuven. I will post a
summary of suggestions.
