The Center for Evaluation of Language and Communication Technologies
(CELCT), Trento, Italy, is looking for two computer scientists, one at
graduate and another at PhD level, to be involved in the activities of
the center.
Graduate applicants must have experience in programming in C++, Perl,
Java, Html and Xml.
Experience in large data bases management will be particularly
appreciated.
PhD applicants must have acquired significant experience in linguistic
data processing and, in particular, in at least one of the following
areas:
multilingual question answering;
machine translation;
cross-language information retrieval;
word sense disambiguation;
multimodal communication technologies.
Successful applicants will have excellent written and verbal
communication skills in English and experience in coordinating national
and international projects.
