Try my "Phrases in English" site, which is based on the BNC.
Two interfaces:
1. http://pie.usna.edu/simplesearch.html (requires Internet Explorer)
as Phrase to find enter
+{nn2} +{nn?}
2. http://pie.usna.edu/explore.html (works with many other browsers)
- choose 2 grams
- enter NN2 (plural common noun) for POS 1
- enter NN? (any common noun) for POS 2
Adjust minimum frequency if desired
Good luck!

Dear linguists,
I am currently looking for a corpus of nominal compounds (N-N) in which the first noun (the internal noun) is pluralized, such as jobs growth, visual effects supervisor, the new government's nationalities policy, etc.
Any reference will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Denis Jamet
