The Institute for Natural Language Processing (NLP) at the University of Stuttgart (Institut fuer Maschinelle Sprachverarbeitung, Lehrstuhl Theoretische Computerlinguistik) is seeking applicants for a post-doctoral position in NLP Information Retrieval Computer scientists and computational linguists in any related area are encouraged to apply, but preference will be given to candidates who specialize in one or more of the following areas: * machine-learning approaches to NLP/IR * question-answering * intelligent information retrieval * data-driven approaches to computational linguistics * information extraction * text and data mining * theory, methods and applications of machine learning We offer an excellent computing environment and the prospect to work on cutting-edge research projects in a dynamic and international research team.
