Hi Mai. I have been working with personal pronoun and demonstrative pronoun
annotation and reference resolution algorithms for a few years. You might take a
look at my publications on my web site. In particular, my thesis
    http://www.cse.ohio-state.edu/~dbyron/papers/thesis.pdf

and a TR I wrote about annotating the pronouns for the corpus that I used to
test my reference resolution method described in the thesis:
    http://www.cse.ohio-state.edu/~dbyron/pubs/TR703-annotation.pdf

The annotated data is available for downloading (see the TR for instructions).

    Cheers,

    Donna

I am particularly interested in the work done by Poesio, M. and Vieira, R. (A corpus-based investigation of definite description use, Computational Linguistics,1998) and would appreciate information about their subsequent work, in addition to other studies dealing not only with (in)definite NPs, but also with pronouns and demonstratives.
