Dear List Members,
I'd like to draw the attention of those who are interested to my book,
"Geometry and Meaning", which is now available through CSLI
Publications / University of Chicago Press.
The book is about the ways in which information can be extracted from
corpora and represented using geometric models such as graphs,
hierarchies, vector spaces and lattices. Example applications include
thesaurus generation, lexical acquisition, concept visualisation,
exploring ambiguity, logical operations for information retrieval, and
translation.
More information, summaries of sections, and links to demos can be
found on the web at
http://infomap.stanford.edu/book/
Best wishes,
Dominic Widdows
