OPEN POSITION AT ELRA/ELDA:
The European Language Resources Association (ELRA) is a non-profit making
organisation founded by the European Commission in 1995, with the mission
of providing a clearing house for language resources and promoting Human
Language Technologies.
The Evaluations and Language resources Distribution Agency (ELDA) is ELRA's
operational body. ELDA identifies, collects, markets, evaluates and
distributes language resources, and organises the evaluation of HLT, along
with the dissemination of general information in the field of HLT.

Project Manager, specializing in written language processing
***********************************************************************
The project manager will be responsible for the development and
coordination of specific activities of HLT evaluation at ELDA in the
framework of national and international projects, namely on written
language processing (information retrieval/extraction, terminology
extraction, machine translation, multilingual alignment, summarization, etc.).
Profile :
* Advanced degree in computer science, computational linguistics, library
and information science, knowledge management or similar fields ;
* Good knowledge of the evaluation programmes in Europe, the US and Japan ;
* Experience in project management, including the management of European
projects ;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team ;
* The working language is French. Proficiency in English is required.

positions are based in Paris (occasional travel) and candidates should have
the citizenship (or residency papers) of a European Union country.
Salary : Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
