Does someone know of an authoritative listing of French
closed class terms?
I am comparing schoolbooks used in grades 1 through 8
between 1930 and 2000 in five nations: France, Sweden,
New Zealand, Canada and the USA. The analyses track the
changes in schoolbook publishers' use of open and closed
class terms.
I have authoritative lists for Swedish and English -- (but even
authorities disagree on some closed class terms and phrases).
Thank you.
