    Hello again everyone,

Thanks for the great links to Spanish corpora on the web! Excellent. I've listed the links for the sites below so if anyone is looking for Spanish ones they can use them (they all look promising). Is anyone aware of some corpora in English on the web? Even if there is a cost involved with accessing it, please let me know if any of you know of one. I'm doing some searches on my own but having some trouble sifting through all of the information to find what I'm looking for.

Have a great day everybody and thanks in advance,

    Lizbeth Heath

PD: Results for Spanish corpora (good stuff):

    www.corpusdelespanol.org (Mark Davies extensive corpus)

http://www.lllf.uam.es/~fmarcos/informes/corpus/corpulee.html (This looks interesting -- the University Autonoma de Madrid's corpus...)

http://corpus.rae.es/creanet.html (Real Academia de Espan~ol's corpus)

http://clef-qa.itc.it/2004/resources.html (EFE corpus -- looks like some neat stuff about Questioning/Answering in multiple languages... have to look at it some more)

Subject: [Corpora-List] Looking for some good on-line corpora

      Hi all,

I'm researching the general differences between American English and Peninsular Spanish concerning courtesy. To do the research I need to find some corpora from both languages -- I'm looking for something possibly free that I could locate and use on the web. Any ideas? Or any resources you could point me to?

      Thanks so much,

      Lizbeth Heath
