I can help a bit on this, though not much.
CobuildDirect is now administered by HarperCollins from Glasgow (ie not from Birmingham any more) - I am trying to get hold of someone there to see what is happening, but without success so far.
University of Birmingham staff, students and visitors (ie people who have free of charge access to the BoE) are still administered in Birmingham, but the server name has changed.
In a nutshell: If you pay for your access to the Bank of English, you'll have to wait for HarperCollins to sort out whatever has gone wrong.
If you have free access to the Bank of English you should have had an email telling you the new server name. If you haven't, contact Michelle Devereux from Monday (m.c.m.devereux@bham.ac.uk).
