[Corpora-List] In seeking for a common English vocabulary database

Dear alls,
I would be very grateful if anyone can provide me a electronic corpus of a few
thousands common English words including their stermming form, e.g, the Special
English words. The database should contain only words or in addition, their
phonetics description in seperated line. The format is similar to CMC
pronounciation dictionary but its content should not include too much abroad
words as well as proper names.
