We have a German-English translation corpus here at Chemnitz.

The link is through the Chemnitz Internet Grammar:

    http://www.tu-chemnitz.de/phil/InternetGrammar

for which you'll need to get a username and password (a process of ten
    seconds' duration).

The corpus contains recent (in the last 15 years) texts in the areas of
politics, tourism and academia. The size of the corpus is approx. 1 million
words each in German and English.

If you intend to use the search tool intensively I can send you information
about the advanced boolean searches etc which are not documented online as
they are still a little buggy.

I would welcome any observations, comments, questions you might have
concerning either the corpus or its search tool.

    Very best regards,

    Gerard Keohane
