    Research Assistant, Global Communication (0.5)

    You will be contributing to the design, development and
    implementation of a multimodal (text and image)
    corpus/database to serve a 5-year research programme on
    language and global communication, funded by the Leverhulme
    Trust

    You will have at least a first degree in computer science, a good
    understanding of database design and computer programming,
    and an interest in the application of IT to linguistic research.
    There is an opportunity to combine the job with part-time PhD
    research in some aspect of computational linguistics.
