Hi, Chris.

[This message has been cc'ed to the Corpora List for the benefit of other
list readers.]

I recently encountered the following web-page maintained by Wentian Li at
Rockefeller University, which contains a wealth of info. regarding Zipf's
law.

http://linkage.rockefeller.edu/wli/zipf/

A pointer to it would make an excellent addition to the Language Technology
Group FAQ.

I'd like to refer Corpora readers to the list of Frequently Asked
Questions (the FAQ) of the Language Technology Group at the University of
Edinburgh:

http://www.ltg.ed.ac.uk/helpdesk/faq/

I'd also like to encourage readers to contribute to that FAQ by contacting
the LTG helpdesk at mailto:Language.Software.Helpdesk@ed.ac.uk .
