For more word lists than you can shake a stick at, see Paul Leyland's
collection at <ftp://ftp.ox.ac.uk/pub/wordlists/>. The file
.../names/fast-names.gz contains about 2200 names which are said to be
common in the U.S., although they are not partitioned by gender. You could
easily do this by joining them to the longer lists in
.../names/female-names.gz and ... /names/female-names.gz.
