Knowledge base model (draft)

The ACO*HUM workplan states that a knowledge base will be created for the areas covered by ACO*HUM (including Computational Linguistics and Languon-European Languages).  With means provided by ELSNET 3 and in cooperation with the TNP on SCS, this knowledge base will be extended to material covering Speech Communication Sciences.

I refer to Steven Krauwer's document on the global design of the website for remarks on the intended audience and final implementation of the entire website.  As to the construction of the knowledge base proposed here, I assume that it will be put together mainly of already available material with some new material and structuring.  I propose that the main editorship is at Bergen and that the working version will have its home page in Bergen.  Editors will be needed for each of the different parts.  I also propose that in the process of construction, all documents will be delivered in plain HTML unless there is a good reason to do otherwise.

Here follows a first proposal for a main structure.  For pragmatic reasons, this structure closely mirrors the existing breakup in active groups.
